About the position
Audit Technology and Innovation Manager Can audit technology sharpen risk insight without weakening control? Build the roadmap that proves it can. Is this you? What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) Where you'll be doing it What you'll need What you'll get
Curiosity about better audit delivery is matched by your respect for quality, governance and control. You think strategically, turn complex technology into practical solutions and communicate with credibility across technical and assurance teams. Resilient and organised, you can balance competing priorities without losing sight of detail.
Shape and implement the digital audit strategy, translating emerging technology into a practical roadmap for the Assurance practice. You will improve methodologies and workflows through analytics, automation, artificial intelligence and standardisation. The work spans dashboards, fraud and anomaly analysis, technology governance, vendor coordination, training and end-to-end project delivery, in partnership with assurance leaders, risk and quality, IT and learning teams.
Based in the Randburg office, you will work within the Assurance Department of a professional services organisation and report to Assurance Directors. The environment brings together audit expertise, technology enablement and regulatory discipline, with close collaboration across engagement teams, internal specialists and external technology providers.
A relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, information systems, information technology, data science, informatics, engineering or a related discipline is essential, together with at least two to three years' experience. You will bring project management, process improvement, automation and analytics capability, including SQL, data modelling, visualisation and interrogation techniques. Exposure to artificial intelligence, digital transformation and audit or assurance environments will strengthen your application.
The opportunity offers genuine influence over how technology is selected, governed and adopted across an audit practice. You will deepen your expertise across analytics, responsible artificial intelligence, workflow optimisation and quality management while building capability through workshops, practical training and engagement support. It is broad, visible work with both strategic scope and hands-on delivery.
