About the position

EXTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Requirements:

• BCom Accounting; CTA 1 or 2 or in progress; Completed SAICA articles
• Afrikaans - fluent business writing and communication skills
• Own Transport and Driver's Licence
• Clear credit and criminal record

Experience / Knowledge:

• Pastel Accounting (everything up to trial balance)
• Microsoft Excel & Word
• CaseWare in all aspects
• SARS E-Filing
• Financial Statements in all aspects
• Auditing
• Taxation - calculating & submission of tax returns
• Strong Management skills, training skills & development of staff through on-the-job mentoring
• Proven technical abilities (IFRS, IFRS for SME's, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing)

Basic Functions:

• Audit Team Leader
• Coaching & development of staff
• Staff & Audit Administration
• Solving of Tax problems
• Quality Control
• Planning, Execute & Review of the Audit Files
• Client & Partner liaison
• Relationship Development
• Drafting management letters
• Attendance of audit committee/steering committee meetings
