Audit Manager

About the position

Key Responsibilities:

Client Assignments and Projects:
- Plan, execute, and oversee client assignments and projects to deliver excellent service.
- Align strategically with Partners/Directors, providing solutions within and beyond accounting, auditing, tax, and advisory realms.

Audit Execution:
- Plan and execute operational and financial audits.
- Actively identify business process risks and document evaluation results.
- Develop recommendations and reports based on audit findings and present ideas to senior management.

Financial Management:
- Achieve team and individual budgets and business performance objectives.
- Manage project financials, including budgets, WIPS, timely billing, and variance recognition.

Team Development and Resource Management:
- Formulate professional development and educational plans for junior staff members.
- Plan and allocate resources and individuals according to skills and schedules.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with internal audit methodology and risk management standards.
- Adhere to external regulatory requirements.

Client Advisory:
- Assist in identifying revenue growth opportunities by recognizing potential opportunities and advising clients on supplementary products or services.

Job Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge and skills.
- CA(SA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS guidelines and SAICA rules and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management skills.
