About the position

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the Public service and Public entities will be a strong advantage;
• A Minimum of 8 years' experience as a member of an Audit Committee in the public sector and / or public entity;
• A relevant degree and postgraduate qualification in Accounting/Auditing/IT /Legal/Risk Management as well as CA(SA)/CIA/ACCA/ CRMA/PA(SA)/CISA, LLB
• Strong expertise in accounting/financial management, corporate governance, risk management, auditing, compliance management, Performance Management, ICT and legal services.
• Demonstrable extensive knowledge of PFMA, National Treasury Regulations and GRAP;
• Experience working and reporting to a Board;
• Executive management experience of at least 5 years; and
• Must be a member in good standing with the relevant professional body.
