About the position
We are looking for a confident, organised and hands-on Auction Floor Coordinator to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day running and presentation of our general auction floor.
This is a practical, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, handling goods and keeping things organised in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack and organise incoming goods.
- Set up and present auction items in an organised and attractive manner.
- Number and arrange auction lots correctly.
- Compile and maintain the vendue roll and auction records.
- Assist with the preparation and smooth running of auctions.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to members of the public.
- Explain the auction process, including registration, bidding, payment and collection procedures.
- Receive and dispatch goods, ensuring all items are correctly recorded and handled.
- Assist buyers with queries and provide general auction information.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented auction floor.
- Work closely with the auctioneer and office team to ensure auctions run efficiently.

- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- In possession of a valid driver's licence and own vehicle – essential.
Previous experience in auctions, retail, warehousing, logistics or customer service will be advantageous.
