They are seeking an ambitious and process-driven Associate QA Lead to join their team in Johannesburg. This is a highly visible, execution-focused role responsible for translating existing compliance frameworks into practical, day-to-day operational controls and quality checks across the business. Responsibilities:
Departmental Process Auditing
- Conduct systematic quality audits across multiple departments to identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and maintain a structured, centralised auditing framework across the business.
- Review operational processes and monitor adherence to established standards and controls.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Process Documentation & Standardisation
- Work closely with teams to understand existing workflows and operational requirements.
- Develop and document clear, structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and process guidelines.
- Standardise processes across the organisation to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Continuously review and enhance operational processes to support business growth and operational excellence.
Quality Assurance & Operational Execution
- Build and maintain practical quality control processes, risk matrices, and verification routines.
- Perform day-to-day quality checks and testing activities to ensure teams are following established procedures.
- Monitor adherence to documented processes and identify areas requiring intervention or additional controls.
- Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the business.
SLA & Performance Management
- Monitor operational outputs and identify potential risks before they impact clients or service commitments.
- Investigate errors, process failures, and control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the business in maintaining high service standards and operational integrity.
- Ensure operational processes consistently support contractual obligations and service delivery expectations.
Reporting & Executive Engagement
- Analyse quality metrics, audit findings, and performance trends.
- Prepare clear, concise, and impactful management reports and presentations.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Provide visibility into operational performance and contribute to strategic decision-making through meaningful reporting and insights.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a QA Specialist, Process Auditor, Operations Analyst, or in a similar process-focused role within a corporate environment.
- Exceptional technical writing skills with proven experience developing SOPs, process documentation, and operational checklists.
- Strong administrative discipline and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to hold stakeholders accountable while maintaining professional relationships.
- Experience within a technology, digital operations, or software environment would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to operational service delivery environments and service level agreements (SLAs) is beneficial.
- Previous experience within highly regulated environments or familiarity with quality and compliance frameworks would be advantageous.
- No coding or automation experience is required.
