About the position
A large consulting engineering company with offices worldwide is looking to appoint an Associate Engineer - Highways.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University/Master of Science / Engineering.
- 12+ Years' experience post grad experience of which 3+ years should be in a supervisory role
- Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA
- Must have previous highway design experience and is expected to have experience in managing senior engineers
- Expected to be able to check designs and supervise
- Experience Civil3D, Civil Designer, BIM360, Roadmate, TechnoCAD and Revit
Your responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinates and provides technical management for mid-large size projects
- Manages technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling
- Manages discipline department staff
- Leads technical business development work
- Provides specialised technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
- Approves and signs off on work
- Leads in one or more areas of technology
- Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule and oversees technical resources to meet requirements on large, complex projects
