Overview of position

The Assistant Stores Controller is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and issuing of stock and materials. The role supports efficient stores operations by maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring good housekeeping, and complying with company procedures.

• Receive incoming stock from suppliers.
• Verify that all received stock matches the relevant delivery notes and report any discrepancies.
• Pick and issue raw materials to production according to approved material requisitions.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Pick and pack production kits as required.
• Report any stock or material discrepancies to the Senior Storeman.
• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Participate in scheduled stock takes.
• Ensure all materials are stored in their designated bin locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stores environment.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Salary Bracket
R8000 to R13 500 per month CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
