About our client:
Our client runs an extensive network of printing plants, utilising cutting-edge technology for efficient and automated production. They offer comprehensive print capabilities for various materials, including magazines, catalogues, and books, handling all run requirements. Their continuous adoption of state-of-the-art technology ensures quick, high-quality printing in virtually any format, with cost-effective and time-efficient solutions achieved through multi-site or multi-press distribution.
What you will be doing:
- Manage local and imported paper orders, including coordinating shipments.
- Process paper receipts and update financial systems daily.
- Handle weekly creditor reconciliations and payments for local and foreign suppliers.
- Communicate with internal and external parties to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain daily updates of financial and inventory systems.
- Generate month-end and ad-hoc inventory reports using Excel.
- Electronically file and maintain records of transactions and reports.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal, mainly in finance.
- 2-3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with imports, foreign exchange, and import documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, plan, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Understanding of accounting practices and various accounting software.
