About the position
Civil Engineering Consultancy has a vacancy for a Professionally Registered Assistant Resident Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience (specifically on roads projects), to be based in the Eastern Cape.
Please Note: ONLY ECSA registered candidates with valid PrEng/PrTech status will qualify to proceed with the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- Valid Professional Registration with ECSA as a PrEng/PrTech
- BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience on road projects
- Proven record of working as the ARE on at least 3 projects
- Experience on SANRAL and national roads projects is advantageous
- Proficient in contract administration
- Well versed with the various forms of general conditions of contract (COLTO, GCC, FIDIC Contracts will be advantageous
