Assistant Procurement Manager

A well-established global IT services provider with international clients is hiring a procurement professional to keep purchasing sharp, compliant, and cost-effective.
 Key Duties

• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and manage PO changes aligned to business needs
• Support Procure-to-Pay: generate, validate, and maintain procurement documentation
• Ensure supplier contracts remain current; file and store related documents correctly
• Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data in relevant tools/applications
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers using required procedures and documentation
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms; maintain strong supplier relationships
• Assist with price forecasting for budget cycles
• Select suppliers based on reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency
• Follow and enforce procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

• Matric
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Procurement / Accounts Payable
• Strong admin accuracy, stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.

Salary

• The proposed salary for the role is R10k - R12k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
