About the position
To manage and oversee the preparation, reporting, and analysis of financial accounts to ensurecompliance with statutory requirements and support effective business decision-making.
JOB SPECIFICATION
1. Monthly Accounting Book / Trial Balance closure for management review andmanagement reports withing deadlines and accuracy.
2. Preparation of all the necessary schedules for management reports.
3. Daily Bank Reconciliations and required reports submission to management.
4. Monthly Bank reports submission and handling bank audits.
5. Weekly & Monthly bank payments submission for management approvals.
6. Ensure tax compliances, VAT 201, EMP201 & EMP 501 return submissions on or beforedue dates.
7. Payroll processing and submission for bank payments to Management.
8. Monthly PAYE, SDL, UIF and 3rd party payment reconciliations on or before due dates.
9. Manage and mentor a finance team staff Debtors, Creditor and Invoicing.
10. Maintain the general ledger and ensure integrity of all financial data.
11. Annual financial audits completion with statutory auditors for closure of financialstatements.
12. Assisting in budgeting and forecasting for annual business plan.
13. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and bank reconciliations.
14. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls andreporting efficiency.
15. Any other reasonable instructions related to the department given by the management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and managingadmin sub-ordinates.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferable.
- Sound knowledge of accounting and financial regulations as per local law.
- Experience working on MS Dynamics 365 ERP Software.
- Good communication skills (telephone, emails) and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be meticulous and organized and able to work under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of Advance MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point and Outlook.
