About the position
A well-established company based in Sandton is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team.
Requirements
- Completed BCom Accounting degree
- SAICA Articles completed
- Minimum 1 year post-articles experience
- Manufacturing industry experience advantageous
- Experience with Syspro and/or Sage Evolution beneficial
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong leadership ability with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated individual able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes
- Available Immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts
- Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Budget preparation and monitoring
- VAT submissions and tax calculations
- Cashflow analysis and reporting
- Provide financial insights to senior management regarding capital investments
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
