A well-established Banana and Macadamia farming enterprise is seeking a motivated Assistant Farm Manager. This is a junior-level position ideal for candidates with 0-2 years of experience in agriculture.
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Farm Manager to support our operations in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of the farm.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing farm activities (planting, irrigation, pest, disease- & weed control, harvesting and Packing etc.).
• Supervise farm workers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. 
• Monitor crop and livestock health for quality yields.
• Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure. 
• Support budgeting, procurement, and cost control. 
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
• Keep accurate records and implement new farming technologies.

Qualifications & Skills: 
-Diploma or degree in Agriculture Farm Management, or related field. 
- Fluent in English and Fanagalo; willingness to learn Portuguese. 
- Proven farm management experience. 
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills 
- Physically fit and 24/7 availability. 
- Valid driver's license and South African passport (no criminal record).
