About the position

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Branch Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our retail branch. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to lead the team, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations
  • Supervise, motivate, and support retail staff
  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance
  • Step in to manage the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate Required
  • Relevant experience in retail or a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literate (MS Office or POS systems advantageous)
