About the position

Support the financial operations by assisting with accurate reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and budgeting. Contribute to effective financial planning and audit readiness while supporting month-end and board meeting processes.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • B Com Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Completed or currently completing articles (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA advantageous)
  • 1-3 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel, SAP, Xero, or similar)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivots etc.)

Key Performance Areas:

  • Capture financial data and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare accounts to trial balance and monthly management reports
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support internal and external audit preparation
  • Assist in compiling board packs and financial presentations
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks and auditors
  • Provide support during month-end close and board meeting cycles
