About the position
Bring order to complexity and join a dynamic renewable energy team making a real impact. Is this you? You're proactive, detail-oriented and thrive in roles that require both coordination and strategic thinking. With strong organisational and problem-solving skills, you're the glue that keeps a team aligned and moving forward. You're comfortable communicating across departments and enjoy supporting both people and processes. You're calm under pressure, quick to identify what needs attention, and your follow-through is second to none. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll be the right hand to the Asset Management team (wind, solar, BESS plants), providing support that keeps operations running smoothly. From managing meetings, compliance reports, and ISO systems to streamlining workflows and supporting O&M activities, you'll play a pivotal role in driving performance. You'll collaborate with internal teams across environmental, legal, and technical functions, helping ensure site performance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. If you enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities and being central to how a department functions, this role will keep you challenged and fulfilled. Where you'll be doing it You'll join a global leader in renewable energy, with a strong and growing footprint across Sub-Saharan Africa. Established over a decade ago, this organisation has developed and operates several utility-scale wind farms, with more than 1 GW of projects in the pipeline and over 3 GW in development. The culture is collaborative, mission-driven, and focused on long-term sustainability, both in energy generation and in team growth. What you'll need You'll bring at least 3 years of experience in coordination or operations, ideally in renewable energy or a technical sector. A National Diploma or Higher Qualification in Engineering, Business, or Environmental Science is required, while a degree or certifications in ISO standards or project management will be advantageous. Strong MS Office skills are a must, and experience with ERP systems will set you apart. What you'll get Along with joining a forward-thinking team in the Port-Elizabth offices, this permanent hybrid role will give you the opportunity to grow your expertise in a future-focused industry. Competitive salary on offer including various benefits and the added reward of supporting a business driving meaningful change in South Africa's energy landscape.
