ARTISAN FITTERS

Are you a skilled Artisan Fitter looking for your next exciting opportunity? We’re looking for qualified and experienced individuals ready to contribute to a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate: Fitter / Fitter and Turner (accredited by a recognized SETA).
- Education: Matric / Grade 12.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in a heavy industrial, mining, manufacturing, or processing environment.
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of mechanical components, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding basics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Physically fit and willing to work shifts, overtime, and standby when required.
