Area Manager

About the position

A dynamic organisation is seeking to employ a Area / Service Manager with 5 years of managerial experience within mining environment in the Northern Cape
Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Electrical Trade Test
• Minimum 5 years' management experience within the mining industry
• Valid driver's licence, own transport, and own accommodation
• Based in the Northern Cape 
• MS Office / Computer literate

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations, service delivery, and SLA performance
• Monitor SLA performance and drive corrective action where targets are at risk
• Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams while managing performance and disciplinary processes
• Allocate resources, coordinate work, and ensure effective communication across departments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and attend client meetings
• Ensure compliance with mining, health and safety, labour, and environmental legislation
• Monitor operational performance, prepare management reports, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Develop strategies to improve service efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance profitability
• Promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction
