About the position

My client in the Gaming industry would like to recruit a Cape Town based Area Manager in their Commercial Department. The ideal candidate would be a self-driven and focused individual, with at least 3 years proven sales experience in either the FMCG / liquor / on consumption industry or similar working environment. This position reports to the Commercial & Licencing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Site and LPM roll-out by:
  • Coordinating and ensuring that sites are commissioned as per standards, policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating the correct positioning of LPM's, choice of games and denominations, in conjunction with the Technical department.
  • Managing the nomination requirements, registration and training bookings for all key and gaming employees.
  • Supervising and managing the site start-up and cash-up process.
  • Business Development by

- Building relationships with premises owners / employees, customers, WCGRB and local government.
Visiting and managing all new business according to set standards and agreements.

  • Management of licensed sites through:
  • Maintaining relationships with site owners.
  • Facilitating with the site installations.
  • Managing the nomination requirements as well as arrange training for all key and gambling site employees.
  • Supervising and managing the site start-up and cash-up process ensure site compliance according to WCGRB rules and standards
  • Management and implementation of revenue generation strategies through:- The management and maintenance of allocated sites.
    - Continual site visits covering GGR maximisation and statistics, business development and site requirements.
    - The co-ordination of site promotions.
  • Site compliance- Ensure that compliance related issues are adhered to.
  • Management of strategic relationships through:- Building relationships with site owners, customers, WCGRB & local government.
  • Monthly Reporting and Administrative Tasks

Grade 12 + Tertiary Equivalent
3 years proven experience
