Financial:Monitor and ensure adherence of the area to financial policies, process and budgets.Report operational and financial risk to senior management.Inform management of the status and implementation plans of programmes, services and quality initiatives. Marketing:Assist in developing and implementing plans and strategies for growth within the area.Assist in the identifying property opportunities. Operational Management:Ensure a smooth day to day running of the casas in the area.Maintaining customer service in the restaurant, compliance to brand and operational standards.
To lead and manage casas within an allocated portfolio and improve performance, growth and profitability.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification (Business Management, Financial Management, Hospitality Management)3-5 years’ experience in middle management in a restaurant or retail environmentDemonstrated experience in delegation, holding others accountable, business planning and communicating across a dispersed group of restaurant managers Knowledge of restaurant operations including people, product and customer processes Knowledge of running of multiple restaurants / business units Knowledge of real estate for business and footprint expansion Knowledge of Technical Operations Standards and back office systems Communication skills – both written and verbal Financial acumen Coaching and mentoring skills Microsoft Office skills
Key Responsibilities
People Management:Identify, develop and retain talent.Direct and coordinate activities of staff in the area to ensure continuity in operational excellence, maximising returns on investments, and increasing productivity.Work with HR and Training staff in dealing with employee grievances, discipline and ensure their effective implementation and management.Identify, manage and resolve potential and actual conflict.
