About the position

Position: Appointment Setter (Remote)
Hours: 12:30 am - 8:30 am SAST

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and organised Appointment Setter to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting potential clients, scheduling appointments for the sales team, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions. This role is pivotal in driving the client's business growth by ensuring a steady stream of qualified leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Outreach: Conduct proactive outreach to potential clients through calls, emails, and social media, engaging them with compelling information about the client's services and setting the foundation for strong business relationships.
  • Qualify Leads: Assess prospects' needs and determine their fit for the client's services, ensuring that only qualified leads are passed on to the sales team for further engagement.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and schedule appointments between qualified leads and the sales team, optimising schedules to ensure timely followups and efficient use of team resources.
  • Follow-up Communication: Maintain consistent communication with potential clients to confirm scheduled appointments, provide reminders, and answer any preliminary questions they may have about the client's offerings.
  • Record Keeping: Diligently log all interactions, appointments, and follow-ups within the CRM system, ensuring that the sales team has complete visibility and context for each prospect.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging, improve outreach methods, and identify successful appointment-setting strategies.
  • Track and Report Performance: Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to appointment setting, providing reports on progress, challenges, and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay Informed on Product Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with the client's product offerings, market positioning, and industry trends, enabling you to confidently address questions from potential clients and make relevant connections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Appointment Setter, Sales Representative, or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
