About the position

Reports to: Sales Manager

Location: Remote (Must be available for USA time zones)

Compensation: Base salary + Uncapped Commission

Status: Full-time contract initially 3 months with the possibility of renewing for 9 or 12 months, depending on individual performance

Position Summary
We are looking for a driven Appointment Setter / Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a sales team. Your primary responsibility will be prospecting and cold calling to set qualified appointments with business owners and executives, effectively communicating the value of a SaaS solution for the U.S. staffing [URL Removed] role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Schedule qualified sales appointments and transition prospects to the senior sales staff.
  • Manage a sales pipeline effectively using a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo).
  • Utilize BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) or similar methodology to qualify leads.
  • Maintain a consistent outreach volume (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, etc.).
  • Track and report performance metrics (appointments booked, call volume, lead conversion).

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Qualified leads added to the pipeline.
- Appointments booked per week/month.
- Outbound calls, emails, and social touches per day.
- Talk time and response rates tracked in CRM.

Additional Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with prospects.
- Conduct research on ideal prospects and target accounts to personalize outreach.
- Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM.
- Follow up aggressively on business opportunities.
- Continuously improve skills through feedback and professional development.

Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with cold calling in sales, lead generation, or appointment setting.
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and business development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, or similar tools).
- Ability to work independently and meet/exceed targets.
- Availability to work U.S. time zones.
- BYOD - Reliable laptop and internet connection

Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5+ years in sales, business development, or related fields.
- Experience in high-volume cold-calling environments preferred.
- Experience in SaaS or software sales.
- Familiarity with the staffing or recruitment industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and social selling strategies.
