About the Role

Drake Personnel is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Recruitment Consultant to join our Bedfordview branch. This role is suited to a confident, results-driven individual with strong sales capability and client-facing experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage client relationships, contribute to business development, and consistently meet performance targets in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and grow existing client accounts
• Manage and service a portfolio of clients with a strong commercial focus
• Deliver permanent and temporary recruitment solutions across white- and blue-collar roles
• Conduct proactive telemarketing, client meetings, and follow-ups
• Source, screen, interview, and place candidates
• Draft recruitment advertisements and manage candidate pipelines
• Conduct reference checks and post-placement follow-ups
• Ensure accurate completion of all placement and compliance documentation
• Advise clients on staffing requirements and basic labour law considerations
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve branch and company KPIs
• Contribute to performance reporting and branch targets

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, HR, or a related field (advantageous)
• Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or a target-driven consulting environment
• Strong sales acumen and ability to build long-term client relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email systems)
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
