What you will be doing:
- Manage inbound and outbound client engagement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and what the competition is doing.
- Build and maintain good relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Show potential clients how our cloud and security solutions can benefit them.
- Create and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Create tailored proposals and close high-value deals.
- Work closely with the tech and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience and transition new clients to account management after the sale.
- Give feedback to product development teams based on what customers need and what's happening in the market.
- Track and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use CRM tools to manage customer relationships and pipeline activity.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Business, Marketing, IT, etc.).
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for IT sector experience.
- Proven track record of success selling cloud and/or security solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Holds certifications in cloud or security technologies (e.g., Mimecast, Netskope, Fortinet).
- Experience working with enterprise-level clients.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in IT and digital transformation.
