About the position
Ansible Operations Engineer
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep knowledge of Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket/GitHub
- Deep knowledge of Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform/Ansible Tower
- Deep knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Deep knowledge of Unix, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES) (Redhat Certification will be preferred)
- Deep knowledge of IaC and related tools such as Terraform
- Deep knowledge of mounting technologies Autofs and DFS
- Deep knowledge of storage technologies as well as state of the art solutions
- Deep knowledge of networks technologies and protocols NFS, CIFS, SSH, DNS, and NTP
- Deep knowledge of scripting / programming such as Bash, Python and Perl
- Professional communication and documentation skills
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of framework Agile Working Model
- Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies such as VMWare
- Knowledge of Private Cloud solutions
- Knowledge of Windows Server
- Knowledge of Dynatrace or Grafana
- Knowledge of Splunk
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as podman, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Knowledge of Directory Access Manager (DIVA)
- Knowledge of Intelligent Storage Orchestration Environment (iStore) and Active Directory Gruppentool (ADGR)
- Basic knowledge of ITIL and ITSM such as Problem-Incident-Change processes
- Basic knowledge of ITSM Suite
- Basic knowledge of Scrum
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP and OIDC
- Basic knowledge of ServiceNow Tool and Processes
- Experience with ServiceNow (Advantageous)
- Experience with Dynatrace (Advantageous)
- Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk (Advantageous)
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite (Advantageous)
- Ansible certification - RHCE (ex294/ex407) (advantageous)
- Ansible tower certification (advantageous)
- ITIL certification (advantageous)
- Any Scrum certification (advantageous)
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Strong Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform (or Ansible Tower/AWX)
- Strong experience with coding and scripting (Bash, PowerShell etc)
- Strong experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES)
- Strong experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Strong knowledge with version control systems (GitHub)
- Strong experience with IaC technologies (Terraform)
- Experience with GitOps
- Any Linux certification such as RHCSA
