About the position

Aluminium Installer
Area: Meyerton, Gauteng
Remuneration: Negotiable between R1600 - R3200 / week
Responsibilities & Duties

• Measure and cut aluminium siding to the required dimensions.
• Install aluminium siding using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Prepare the surface of buildings by removing old siding and preparing the substrate.
• Seal seams and edges to ensure watertight installations.
• Inspect and repair damaged aluminium siding.
• Apply caulking and weatherproofing to completed installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Operate scaffolding and ladders safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements & Skills

• Previous experience as an Aluminium Installer or similar role.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of building safety regulations.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• Matric or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or a related field.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
• Manual dexterity and physical fitness.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Must reside in the Meyerton area.
• Must be a SA Citizen
