About the position
- We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Air Compressor Technician for Cape Town. In this role, you’ll provide technical and diagnostic support on a range of compressed air systems and equipment, both in the workshop and in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults on compressors and vacuum pumps
- Perform routine servicing and troubleshooting, including refrigeration dryers
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Participate in standby, call-outs, and overtime as needed
- Comply with SHE policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in compressed air systems
- Knowledge of controller programming and PC literacy essential
- Refrigeration dryer and diesel engine experience advantageous
- Relevant technical qualification preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer focus
