We are seeking a hands-on AI Transformation Lead to turn strategy into execution — working directly with business units, product teams, and leadership to embed AI-powered ways of working that deliver measurable business impact.
This is not a theoretical strategy role — it is a practical, execution-focused leadership position responsible for enabling real change across the organisation.
Description
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy, Portfolio & Value Realisation
- Translate Group AI strategy into actionable initiatives and business use cases
- Support business units in executing prioritised AI initiatives
- Drive value realisation through tracking, accountability, and measurable outcomes
Business Adoption & Change Management
- Embed AI-enabled ways of working within teams and daily operations
- Partner with BU leaders to integrate AI into planning, performance, and governance cycles
- Identify adoption barriers and implement targeted interventions (training, comms, workflow redesign)
Operating Model, Governance & Responsible AI
- Implement and operationalise the AI operating model across the Group
- Guide teams on governance frameworks, policies, and delivery standards
- Ensure Responsible AI principles (privacy, security, fairness, transparency) are applied
Product & Customer Value
- Support integration of AI capabilities into product roadmaps
- Collaborate with commercial teams to articulate AI-driven customer value
- Develop reusable AI accelerators to scale adoption across business units
Workforce & Capability Development
- Define AI capability strategy: skills, roles, and workforce evolution
- Partner with Human Capital on upskilling and role redesign initiatives
- Build a network of AI Champions and communities of practice
Ecosystem Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Volaris AI ecosystem to leverage playbooks, tools, and best practices
- Align internal initiatives with global standards and innovations
Delivery & Execution
- Lead cross-functional delivery of AI initiatives from concept to adoption
- Ensure effective tracking of scope, delivery, and business impact
- Institutionalise learnings and continuously improve transformation practices
Customer Readiness & Advisory
- Support client-facing teams with AI advisory and solution positioning
- Enable consistent frameworks for assessing and driving customer AI adoption
- Align internal capabilities with external market opportunities
Minimum Requirements
What Success Looks Like- Demonstrated progression of AI maturity across business units
- Measurable business value delivered (revenue, efficiency, productivity, CX)
- Well-defined and executed AI roadmap and use-case portfolio
- Embedded AI governance and operating model
- Strong adoption across teams and functions
- Clear capability development and workforce transformation plans
Experience & Qualifications- 8–10 years’ experience in business or digital transformation roles
- Proven track record delivering cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI in a business context
- Experience implementing operating models, governance, and change frameworks
- Background in technology or software environments (SaaS preferred)
