This role is critical in identifying, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, inventory management, demand forecasting, and overall supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical AI/ML expertise with a practical understanding of warehousing operations, and have a passion for solving complex, real-world problems through data and automation.

About The Employer:
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably within a warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in Afrikaans is a must
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in ML libraries.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and IoT integration is a strong advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical approach to applying technology in operational settings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex models into business language
