The AI Operations Analyst is a newly created graduate role responsible for driving the practical implementation of artificial intelligence tools and processes across the organization's operational functions. This individual will work at the intersection of technology and business operations, translating AI capabilities into tangible process improvements.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role suited to a curious, analytically minded graduate who is passionate about technology and its real-world business applications.
Purpose: To identify, implement and optimise AI-powered solutions across operational teams, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy and service quality.
K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
1. Process Analysis & Opportunity Identification
- Map and document existing operational workflows across business units
- Conduct structured assessments to identify automation and AI integration opportunities
- Develop business cases for AI-driven process improvements
- Maintain a live pipeline of AI initiative ideas and their potential ROI
2. AI Tool Deployment & Integration
- Configure, test and deploy AI tools including chatbots, RPA solutions and LLM-based applications
- Collaborate with IT to ensure secure, compliant integration of AI platforms
- Build and manage prompt libraries and AI configuration templates
- Monitor live AI systems for performance, accuracy and anomalies
3. Data & Quality Management
- Assist in preparing, cleaning and structuring data for model training and AI input pipelines
- Flag data quality issues and liaise with data owners to resolve them
- Maintain documentation standards for datasets used in AI workflows
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Engage operational staff to understand pain points and gather post-deployment feedback
- Deliver basic training and guidance to teams adopting new AI tools
- Produce clear, non-technical summaries of AI projects for management audiences
- Contribute to building a culture of AI literacy across the organisation
5. Reporting & Governance
- Maintain performance dashboards tracking AI tool usage, uptime and impact metrics
- Document SOPs, change logs and version histories for all AI systems
- Support compliance reviews and ensure deployments adhere to company AI policy
Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S & E X P E R I E N C E
Essential
- Degree or Diploma in related field.
- Demonstrable interest in artificial intelligence, automation or digital transformation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Strong understanding and demonstrated ability to utilize AI.
Advantageous
- Exposure to AI/ML tools through coursework, personal projects or internships
- Completion of an AI, cloud or data certification (e.g. Google AI Essentials, Microsoft AI-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Coursera ML Specialisation)
- Experience with no-code / low-code tools (e.g. Power Automate, Zapier, Make)
- Familiarity with SQL or data querying
