About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A cognitive automation consultancy, specialising in intelligent document processing, conversational AI and agentic AI, is looking for an AI Enablement Coach who will be embedded within the Operations & Administration team to help management and staff use approved AI tools effectively in their day-to-day work. This is a practical, hands-on enablement and coaching role. It is not an agent-development or build role.
DUTIES:
O&A Management:
- Identify and prioritise suitable AI opportunities.
- Use AI for analysis, reporting, decision support and communication.
- Track adoption, benefits, risks and dependencies.
O&A Staff Using Copilot Chat:
- Develop foundational prompting skills.
- Use Copilot Chat for research, drafting, summarisation, problem solving and prompt development.
- Understand data, privacy and responsible-use limitations.
O&A Staff Licensed for Microsoft 365 Copilot:
- Apply Copilot within Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Work through practical O&A use cases using approved business information.
- Create reusable prompts, templates and working practices.
Users of Existing AI Solutions:
- Coach staff using existing AI-enabled solutions already in place.
- Help users understand each solution's capabilities, limitations and required human controls.
- Gather feedback, identify adoption barriers and improve effective use.
- Escalate technical defects or enhancement requests to the relevant solution owner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one coaching, small-group sessions and practical AI bootcamps.
- Work through the identified AI opportunities and analyse current procedures to find new ones.
- Translate operational problems into safe, prompt-led working processes.
- Help staff develop, test and refine reusable prompts.
- Support document comparison, reporting, summarisation, data analysis, exception identification and meeting preparation.
- Reinforce verification, privacy, information security and human-review requirements.
- Produce reusable prompt templates, quick guides and worked examples.
- Track participation, adoption, completed use cases, time saved and lessons learned.
- Refer needs requiring integrations, production automation or new solutions to the relevant AI or IT teams.
Out of Scope:
- This role will not build Copilot Studio agents, bots or production applications, implement integrations, or make autonomous operational, regulatory or employee decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong practical experience with Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Experience enabling users of deployed AI solutions.
- Excellent coaching, facilitation and change-adoption skills.
- Ability to translate operational problems into practical AI-assisted processes.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Good understanding of responsible AI, privacy and information security.
- Financial services or regulated operations experience is advantageous.
