About the position
We are currently looking for AI Consultant in Sales & Client Acquisition. You will leverage your existing client network to acquire and close AI consultancy projects. The role requires a strong blend of AI consulting expertise, enterprise sales experience, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Meet and exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets through AI consultancy projects.
- Leverage existing client relationships to generate immediate opportunities.
- Drive new business acquisition in large and mid-size enterprises.
- Manage consulting-led sales cycles from prospecting to closure (deal sizes ?50L – ?5Cr+).
Client Consulting & Delivery Support
- Advise CXOs on AI strategy, workflow integration, and automation adoption.
- Develop tailored AI proposals, roadmaps, and ROI-driven business cases.
- Work with internal solutioning and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
Market Development & Brand Building
- Represent SAI at industry events, roundtables, and forums.
- Build credibility by contributing to whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership.
- Deepen penetration within target accounts to drive repeat and expansion deals.
Performance Metrics
- Revenue Achievement: Consultancy projects sold & delivered.
- Client Accounts: New logos acquired and existing accounts expanded.
- Pipeline Strength: Consistent flow of qualified deals.
- CXO Engagements: Number of active executive-level relationships managed.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 8–13 years, with at least 5+ years in AI consulting sales.
- Currently working in an AI Consulting firm (Tier-1, Big-4, or niche AI/Digital Consulting).
- Client Network: Strong book of business with active enterprise clients (must bring relationships).
- Proven Track Record: Closed multiple AI/digital transformation/automation deals of ?50L+ size.
- Skills:
- Enterprise sales, account hunting, and consulting-led solutioning.
- Strong CXO network in BFSI, Pharma, Retail, Manufacturing, or Tech.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and business case storytelling
