We are seeking an AI, Machine Learning, Automation, Debt Collections, Recoveries, Decisioning Systems, Debt Manager, Jonas Software, Predictive Modelling, Financial Services, Data Engineering, SQL, Python, Java, .NET, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, Real-Time Reporting, Analytics Automation.AI & Automation Specialist to drive the transformation of its debt collections and recoveries capabilities through intelligent automation and AI-driven decisioning.
The bank has recently implemented a modern debt collections and recovery platform and is looking for a specialist who can help unlock its full potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for disrupting traditional spreadsheet-driven reporting processes and introducing AI-enabled automation, predictive insights, and real-time decisioning capabilities.
The goal is to move the business toward a self-service, real-time collections intelligence environment, where operational insights and recovery strategies can be accessed instantly.
About the Platform
The role will support our Debt Collections & Recoveries ecosystem.
The Debt Manager software is a specialised financial services platform designed to manage the full debt recovery lifecycle, including:
collections workflow management
automated account prioritisation
debtor segmentation
repayment strategy optimisation
recovery performance reporting
The platform enables financial institutions to optimise collections strategies, reduce non-performing loans, and improve recovery outcomes through automation and data-driven decisioning.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Automation
Design and implement AI-driven solutions that automate collections decisioning and reporting processes.
Develop predictive models to support collections prioritisation, debtor segmentation, and repayment forecasting.
Implement automation solutions that reduce reliance on manual reporting and spreadsheet-based processes.
Platform Optimisation
Work closely with business stakeholders to maximise the capabilities of the Debt Manager collections platform.
Design integrations between the collections platform and other enterprise systems.
Enhance platform usage through automation, APIs, and intelligent workflows.
Real-Time Insights & Reporting
Transform legacy reporting processes into real-time self-service analytics solutions.
Develop automated dashboards and reporting frameworks.
Enable business users to access operational insights at the click of a button.
Data & Integration
Design data models and integration pipelines to support AI-driven collections strategies.
Work with enterprise data environments such as Dataverse / Dynamics 365 and other banking data platforms.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.
Technology & Engineering
Develop backend services and automation tools using technologies such as Java or .NET.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Support containerised deployments using Docker / Kubernetes where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
AI / Machine Learning
Experience designing and implementing AI or machine learning solutions in enterprise environments.
Experience with predictive modelling, decisioning engines, or automation systems.
Financial Services / Collections
Experience working within financial services, debt collections, credit risk, or recoveries environments.
Exposure to collections platforms such as Debt Manager, FICO, or similar systems is advantageous.
Data & Analytics
Strong data modelling and querying capabilities using SQL / NoSQL databases.
Experience designing automated reporting and analytics frameworks.
