Now Hiring: Agricultural Specialist (aka Farming Finance Whisperer)
If you're part farmer, part economist, part detective - we need you.

This is not your typical office job. You'll be out in the field (literally), helping to make smart investment decisions by turning your specialist insight into action. You'll meet passionate farmers, inspect real working operations, identify risks before they sprout, and help guide some of the country's most vital businesses back to health.

What You'll Actually Do (Besides Drink Coffee in a Bakkie)

• Assess: Visit farms and agri-businesses to evaluate their operational and financial health.
• Advise: Help our dealmakers structure the kind of funding that makes sense (and sense of it all).
• Investigate: Dig deep into the land, assets, crops, and risks - then report on what's really going on.
• Rescue: For clients in distress, you'll diagnose the root problems and map out paths to recovery.
• Manage Collateral: Keep tabs on the security side of things - value it, track it, report it.
• Collaborate: Connect with farmers, co-ops, government reps, and industry bodies to strengthen networks and share insight.

• Educate: Share your technical know-how with colleagues and build out our agricultural knowledge base.

• Confident in gumboots and boardrooms

• Not afraid of spreadsheets or soil

Must-Haves

• A 3-year qualification in Agriculture or something equally relevant
• 5+ years in agricultural extension, farming businesses, co-ops, or somewhere you got dirt under your nails and numbers in your head
• Solid grasp of financial and risk assessment principles
• Microsoft Office wizardry (okay, or just basic competence)
• Understanding of property valuation, lending, and agri-economics
