About the position
We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Engineer with hands-on experience in GE ADMS platforms (Power On Fusion (PoF) or Power On Advantage (PoA)) to join our dynamic and customer-centric support team. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering expert-level support for Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) in complex utility environments, ensuring high reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for GE ADMS solutions, including DMS Applications, DNAF, OMS, Storm Assist, and DER modules.
- Troubleshoot, install, configure, and maintain solutions across SCADA, UI, and Modeling tools.
- Isolate and resolve technical issues across Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Jasper Reports, and Cassandra platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related problems involving TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, switches, and Active Directory.
- Collaborate directly with utility customers to ensure high system uptime and rapid issue resolution.
- Support compliance with NERC CIP standards and assist in audits as required.
- Deliver exceptional service with a positive, proactive, and customer-first mindset.
- Produce documentation and diagnostics logs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 + years direct experience with GE ADMS platforms (PoF or PoA).
- Solid understanding of Transmission and Distribution electrical networks.
- Proficiency in remote diagnostics and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and work independently.
