Admistrator (MI) at Glencore

About the position

• Administer and maintain existing and expanding Metallurgical Intelligence environment.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support on Metallurgical Intelligence and OSIsoft PI Historian
• Update and Maintain PI Historian / Metallurgical Intelligence along with documentation and drawings
• Setup / Create reporting from Adroit Scada / PI Historian

Desired Experience Qualification

&

• Grade 12
• B.Eng Computer/Electronic/Systems Engineering
• OSIsoft PI Power User
• A minimum of two years in instrumentation and/or programming environment
• Sound Knowledge of:
  • PLC's Toshiba, Modicon and Modbus Ethernet
  • Scada Systems
  • Industrial Networking
  • Data Handling
  • Tableau Reporting
  • PI Datalink
• Valid driver's license
• Medically fit.
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in English
• Innovative, results driven and ability to function independently
• Needs to work well in a team environment
• Strong report writing skills
