About the position

This role ensures effective divisional administration and Support to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a full administrative support to the Principal and the College
  • Compiling divisional reports, including monthly and project reports, and providing administrative support for NEC and Board reporting requirements
  • Minuting of weekly staff meetings and any other college related meetings
  • Filing, faxing, printing, photocopy, collecting mail
  • Ordering of stationery
  • Coordinating travel and S&T claims for staff within the division
  • Managing satellite attendance register
  • Coordinating transport requests with the driver for colleagues and learners within the division
  • Assist with managing the Learner Management System
  • Events management
  • Manage student admission
  • Coordinate pre-assessment
  • Capture data for the college
  • Assisting with the management and coordination of tracer studies for the College
  • Prepare invoices and purchase orders and maintain supplier data
  • Liaise with administrators of college projects

Core Competencies required:
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:

  • Strong understanding of the sector and the ability to provide support.
  • Exceptional computer literacy
  • Excellent Administrative skills
  • Exceptional record management
  • Very good communication skills: written and verbal

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
  • Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Five (5) years' work experience as an Office Administrator
  • Knowledge of QCTO and SETA will be an added advantage
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Driver's licence (advantageous)
  • Discretion and confidentiality
