About the position

Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment?  Our client, a well-established organisation within the financial services/Insurance industry, is seeking a professional Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to their Regional Manager.

This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of regional activities by managing administrative functions, coordinating communication, and assisting with strategic and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative support to the Regional Manager, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.

  • Prepare, format, and distribute reports, presentations, and documentation.

  • Maintain efficient filing systems (both digital and physical) for compliance, contracts, and operational records.

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional and welcoming approach.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, events, and regional team activities.

  • Assist with tracking performance indicators, compiling regional reports, and monitoring deadlines.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and HR-related administrative tasks within the region.

  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and operational logistics.

  • Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 essential.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative or PA/secretarial role (experience within financial services or legal sectors preferrable).

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.
