About the position

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee branch administration, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies
  • Manage POS processes, stock control, and shrinkage to optimise store performance
  • Handle HR and IR functions, including staff management, to maintain a productive work environment
  • Implement merchandising principles and marketing strategies to enhance customer experience
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and operational efficiency
  • Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability, ensuring alignment with budget goals
  • Identify risk areas, implement countermeasures, and address audit findings in collaboration with the Branch Manager
  • Conduct key operational performance assessments and general administration tasks
  • Take responsibility for branch management in the absence of the Branch Manager
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • At least 5 years' experience in the Agricultural sector in a management role
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a pressurised environment
  • Previous administrative experience and/or Retail experience
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent grasp of company policy and procedure
  • Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Calm disposition when faced with challenges (advantageous)
  • Valid Driver’s License
