About the position

Lucrative Basic Salary + Benefits + Incentives
Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days from home

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full collections process for a portfolio of Middle Eastern clients.
• Collect outstanding payments from both private-sector and government clients.
• Take full ownership of allocated accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
• Monitor payment commitments and ensure agreed Promises to Pay (PTPs) are met within the specified timeframes.
• Follow specific client processes and requirements, including project delivery notes and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a strong understanding of account history, outstanding balances, disputes and supporting information.
• Liaise closely with the Commercial Team Leader in Dubai and other relevant commercial stakeholders.
• Engage confidently with senior-level stakeholders, PMOs and Commercial Leads.
• Maintaining a firm and professional approach to collections.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activity and account information.
• Work proactively to reduce outstanding debt and improve payment turnaround times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in collections, within a corporate or international environment.
• Strong track record in recovering outstanding debt and managing challenging accounts.
• Experience dealing with commercial and/or government clients would be advantageous.
• Strong dispute resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Ability to take ownership of accounts rather than simply following up and moving on.
• Confident and assertive communication style, with the ability to hold your ground professionally when dealing with overdue payments.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, PMOs and commercial teams.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams.
• Experience working with Middle Eastern clients would be advantageous.
• Arabic language skills would be an advantage, although translation support is available.
