Accounts Payable Team Leader at Sentech

About the position

SENTECH requires the service of an experience and qualified Accounts Payable Team
leader, who will give specialised support to the Department's Head of Accounts Payable
activities that includes:

Qualification's requirements:

• BCom Finance degree

• Minimum 3 years' experience in supervising the accounts payable team.

The job responsibilities include the following:

• The Incumbent should be highly results-driven, and goal directed individual, who willthrive on challenges and a changing environment.
• Efficiently allocate work among team members for multiple alphabets.

• Prioritize tasks based on due dates, vendor relationships, and general ledgeraccounts.

• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensuring they are captured

correctly.

• Verify that invoices are correctly captured and allocated to the appropriate general

ledger accounts.

• Allocate invoices to the correct payment runs according to due dates.
• Checking all monthly supplier recons, put measures in place to ensure there is no fruitless and wasteful expenditure incurred.

• Ensure that invoices are digitally filed for easy retrieval and record-keeping.

• management of the daily and weekly invoice register, payment register and cashflow

• Ensure all month end journals and reports are submitted on time.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies as necessary.
• ensure processes and procedures are up to update and efficient.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our general ledger structure.
• Ensuring smooth daily operations by proper allocation of transactional volume to the

team

• Participating on transitions and process stabilizations and alignment
• Address queries from various business unitd on processing of the invoices

• understanding of IFRS basics and VAT Act
