Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the position

Our client is a Long-Standing Manufacturing Company, based in the heart of Boksburg, that supplies engineered components to clients across a variety of industries.

This Company operates in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for three Accounts Payable Clerks. The ideal candidate must have the ability to lead with both structure and support.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos, and expense reports
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
• Prepare AP aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities
• Ensure accuracy of the AP ledger
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and resolve any discrepancies
• Supervise and mentor the AP team, providing training, support, and performance feedback
• Prepare AP reports and assist with month-end close processes
• Develop, document, and improve AP procedures and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and assist with audits
