Accounts Payable Clerk

Are you a detail-driven, proactive individual with a passion for numbers and organization? Do you thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We're looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic team and keep the wheels of our finance operations turning smoothly!



What You'll Be Doing:

You'll play a key role in our invoicing and admin processes, supporting our finance and distribution teams with precision and energy.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing orders and queries via email
• Downloading orders from PnP, Shoprite, and other portals
• Invoicing for all retail channels (Spar WC, OKWC, Clicks, Pep, Ackermans, Independents, and Distributors)
• Booking deliveries with Distribution Centres
• Updating pricing, deal sheets, and stock transfers on Pastel
• Opening new accounts and processing credits
• Preparing trip sheets for daily deliveries
• Handling reception and general admin duties
• Coordinating closely with Warehouse Managers, Directors, and the wider team
• Filing PODs and maintaining accurate trackers
• Compiling movement stock reports and assisting with stocktakes

What You'll Need:

• Matric Certificate (essential)
• Experience in the FMCG industry (a must)
• Solid Pastel knowledge
• Good command of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
