About the position

Responsible for overseeing and reconciling all Accounts Payable transactions in multiple currencies, including ZAR, EUR, USD.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 with Maths and Accounting
  • Diploma / Degree in accounting/finance
  • Minimum 5 years accounts payable working experience in FMCG or Manufacturing environment
  • Must have experience in international creditors handling foreign payments
  • Must have advanced Excel and ERP (eg. SAP, Syspro)

Key Performance Areas:

  • Accounts payable transaction processing and reconciliation in ZAR, EUR and USD
  • Invoice management, including invoice verifications against purchase orders and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and general ledger allocations
  • Process invoices from foreign suppliers according to currency and exchange rates
  • Coordinate with intercompany purchasers to reconcile invoices and statements
  • Prepare accrual lists and month-end reports for payment runs
  • Follow up on supplier queries and discrepancies
  • Credit applications as per company purchasing policies
