Are you a detail-oriented, proactive finance professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance? We are looking for a dynamic Accounts Executive / Assistant Accountant to join our growing team at our Kenya office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly contribute to our financial efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other financial accounts.
- Support payroll preparation and ensure statutory deductions are compliant with regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
- Prepare and file tax returns such as VAT and PAYE in line with local laws.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
