JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review Bank Statements to determine whether payments have been made by Clients.
- Compile & send Monthly statements to accounts customers.
- Compile Group Statement Monthly and Bi-Monthly
- Follow up on payments from Customers.
- Recording & calculation of monthly commission of sales staff (Internal & External)
- Liaise with the Company Accountant
- Liaise with Company Business Banker
- Update Files
- Report on Monthly Group Sales
- Update company's Dealers Database
- Prepare reports for Management.
- Manage accounts payable & receivable.
- Resolve complaints/queries on Client Accounts
- Establish and maintain Professional relations with clients
- Update Pricelists
- Load/Process Weekly and Monthly Company Payments (Budgets, Expenses, etc.)
- Compile and send debtors ledgers to non-account customers.
REQUIREMENT FOR SUITABLE CANDIDATE
- Must reside in Johannesburg
- Must have Experience in bookkeeping or in a related field with a solid track record working in accounts/finance.
- Must be between the age of 22 - 38.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
- Analytical thinker and problem solver.
- Competent accounting skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Knowledge of SAGE,MS Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office is essential.
- Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
- Administrative skills.
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Have the best interests of the company at heart.
