Accounts Administrator

About the position

Well established company in JHB North seeks an Accounts Administrator with foreign creditors experience who is available immediately
Minimum Requirements 

• Available immediately for a 6 month contract (ie not currently working)
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience  
• Previous experience with foreign creditors essential 
• Experience on Sage 300 advantageous

Duties will include 

• Processing accounts payable into Sage 300 to ensure that all creditors /suppliers are paid punctually
• Electronic banking for processing of payments
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and debtor/creditor accounts Monitoring daily funding requirements for current/admin accounts
• Monitoring credit card balances for top-up 
• Liaison with property managers/personnel to assist with the financial day to day running of properties and funding of property expenses (petty cash, bank accounts, cards)
• Preparation of foreign payments
• Ensuring complete and accurate VAT recording on every transaction and that supporting documents are valid to support VAT reclaim
• Ensuring complete and accurate filing of AP support, credit card, petty cash, expenses, payments and banking documentation, including scanning and electronic storage
• Providing supporting documents quickly and efficiently in response to AP queries from internal and external parties (for example, invoices requested by auditors)
