About the position
Our client, based in Midrand, is seeking an enthusiastic Accounting graduate who is eager to build a long-term career within a growing organisation.
The ideal candidate must have a completed degree in Accounting and a strong understanding of accounting principles, as these are non-negotiable requirements for the role.

Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Degree in Accounting.
- Strong proficiency with Sage Accounting and Sage HR; knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks is advantageous.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Excellent Excel and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance and balance sheet.
- Process bank transactions and perform weekly/monthly reconciliations.
- Oversee debtors and creditors, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payments.
- Manage payroll and statutory submissions (PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, EMP501).
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, provisional and annual corporate tax returns via SARS eFiling.
- Support intercompany billing and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and insurance schedule.
- Assist with management accounts, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
