About the position
About the position:
Enthusiastic, service driven and highly motivated accounting and tax professionals required to join our clients Team, in a vibrant Cape Town, Southern Suburbs accounting practice.
By being part of the team, you will get exposure to the following, when looking after multiple clients:
- Monthly/ annual accounts processing on Xero (limited Pastel usage)
- Preparing advanced tax computations for companies and completing the company tax returns
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for trusts
- Preparing and overseeing advanced tax returns for individual clients
- Preparation of final trial balance and effecting year-end adjustments
- Review of general ledger and trial balance for completeness and accuracy, final adjustments for financial statement compilations
- Assisting with projects
- Assisting with reviews and audits of clients
- Valued added client liaison with responsibility for your portfolio
- Planning and execution of work for the year to meet deadlines comfortably
- Working closely with all role-players in the firm
- Client meetings and actioning desired outcomes
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Senior Certificate and relevant B.Com degree
